NE BREEZE FLAT SEA - Pork Chops w/ Apple Sauce
The ocean is calm and the water is the right depth for swimming along hollywood beach.The NE breeze is light today and the sky is bluePork Chops & Applesauce Pork Chops – 8 cops, ½" thickBread crumbs, fine, seasoned – 3 ½ cupsGarlic, dry ground, 1 tspRosemary, dry, ground - ½ tspThyme, dry, ground – ½ tspOlive oil – 1 ozButter – 3 TBLMilk – 1 pintKosher salt – 2 tspApple sauce – 10 oz.Marinate the pork chops in the milk with 2 tsp of salt for about 1 or 2 hoursHeat an oven to 200 degrees to keep the batches of pork chops warm.Mix the bread crumbs with the garlic, rosemary, thyme.Use a big skillet at medium heat, mix in the olive oil and butter. Take the first 4 chops from the milk and cover them with a layer on both sides of bread crumbs.Cook the chops for about 3 minutes per side, turning once. Plate them and keep them warm in oven while you repeat the steps for the second batch of 4.Serve with a couple TBL of apple sauce.
