Fish Dinner
I took a quick shakedown trip to Astoria, Oregon. Bike is slow because of the weight but everything is working great. I got to the Astoria Dune Motel without any problems.My main tasks at the motel are to re-arrange all my bags for the long trip to Boston, and laundry (a daily task). I thought I would first get something to eat. Being in a ery town, celebrating their 200th anniversary, this year, I thought I would go for some fresh . Well that prove to be an impossible task. None of the restaurants in Astoria had freshly caught . How strange.Luckily I found Rollin Thunder Bbq on 77 11th St in Astoria, Oregon. If you like home cooking, this is the restaurant for you. I had a large Pulled Pork sandwich with slaw for $5. A great price.Back at the motel, I did my laundry and arranged my bags. I wished I had time for the heated pool and jacuzzi. But I need my sleep for the long ride to Portland.
